The final installment of
Flying Lotus's Los Angeles EP Series just dropped a few days ago on
WARP Records. The EP has seven tracks, some which are originals and others remixes by friends. The EP feels much more ambient than any of the others did, while it lacks the psychedelic synth lines and wild drum beats. L.A. EP 3 X 3 sounds as if
Flying Lotus wanted to create a much more minimalist sound than usual, to perhaps show the beauty that can come out of his music. Maybe this minimalist sound will start showing up in some of his upcoming work.
Flying Lotus has killed it again. He did a great job completing his
Los Angeles EP Series, the EP really lives up to the others. Make sure to show some love and grab a copy of the EP, out on
WARP Records now!
Tracklist:
A1. Infinitum (Dimlite's Re-finitum)
A2. Comet - MatthewDavid
A3. Endless White
B2. Spin Cycles
B3. Testament (Breakage's Bill's Suit Mix)
B4. Auntie's Harp (Rebekah Raff Remix)
One response to “Flying Lotus - L.A. EP 3 X 3”
Was on FLyLo's blog recently; notes a new LP next year, which is "the best stuff he's written so far". Can't wait for that!
